Wedding FAQs
We shoot in a documentary, photojournalistic style, which means we focus on real moments as they happen. I want you to look back and see the full feeling of the day — not just the portraits, but the laughs, tears, and in-between moments that make your story yours.
I’d recommend reaching out at least 6 months ahead if you can. That gives us time to map out your timeline, note any special requests, and make sure your day runs smoothly. If your date is closer, still send us a message — if we’re available, we’ll do our best to make it work.
Yes, but only to some extent—we'll make sure your experience is worth it
You’ll get 30 highlight photos in about 2 days, and the full gallery is delivered in about 3 weeks. I know waiting is the hardest part, so we try to get your favorites to you quickly while we finish the full story.
Yes, as long as you like our style, regardless of the hours or day, we'll be there.
Absolutely — I shoot weddings across the U.S. and worldwide. We’ve photographed destination weddings in places like Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand, and the Philippines, so travel is very much part of what we do. If you’re planning a wedding somewhere far from California, reach out and let’s talk details.
We started shooting wedding since 2012, but we turned Big Bliss Weddings into a full-fledged business in 2015. Fun fact: back in the Philippines a typical year for us is shooting about 60 weddings.
Once you’re booked, we’ll set up a meeting so I can get to know you and hear the little story details that matter most. From there, we’ll plan how to approach your wedding so your photos feel natural, honest, and true to your day — no awkward stiff posing unless you’re secretly into that.
